Situated in one of the most picturesque towns in Wales, Aeron Coast takes its responsibility to the environment seriously and we ask all visitors to the park to do the same.
History has shown us that recycling on the park poses too great a risk of contamination ie visitors inadvertently putting recycling in the wrong bins. For this reason, we pay a premium price for a specialist company to remove our waste from the park and sort and recycle it at their own site, using latest technology.
In 2021, 96.54% of waste generated on the park was successfully recycled. We monitor these statistics regularly and are working hard to eliminate the limited amount of waste going to landfill.
As you enjoy your stay at the park, please join us in our commitment to protecting the environment and the beauty of Aberaeron. We welcome your feedback in ways we could improve.
In 2021, Aeron Coast’s chosen charity was Pancreatic Cancer UK ( www.pancreaticcancer.org.uk ) The charity is committed to transforming the future for everyone affected by pancreatic cancer. As a result of fundraising through the season, Aeron Coast donated £4,660 to the charity.
Dear Leighton,
I wanted to write and pass on our heartfelt thanks for the very large donation you and the team at Aeron Coast made to Pancreatic Cancer UK. I am sorry to hear that the cancer has impacted you and your family so significantly. Sadly, we can’t change the experiences of so many people who have been impacted by pancreatic cancer. I can however assure you that the team here, alongside researchers and healthcare professionals are working tirelessly to transform the lives of those who receive the diagnosis in the future. We are determined to succeed.
I can’t tell you how much all donations, especially ones of this size, make a real difference. Thank you from myself and all those involved in our cause.
Please pass on our very sincere thanks to all at Aeron Coast.
With all best wishes,
Diana Jupp, Chief Executive
Pancreatic Cancer UK
We are pleased to confirm our 2022 sponsored charity will be the British Heart Foundation.
Since the park was established in 1963, Aeron Coast has played an active role within the town. In our history, we were proud to host the famous annual Aberaeron Sevens rugby competition. We join the Carnival spirit each year entering our own float, with much success. Less successful, though as enjoyable, is the annual Aberaeron vs Aeron Coast Bowls competition where we are ritually beaten! We sponsored Aberaeron’s bicentenary Firework display and are regular contributors to clubs and causes in the town.
